FAITH

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

— Hebrews 11:1

my FOUNDATION OF FAITH

Anchored in Truth, Empowered by GRACE

Anchored in Truth, Empowered by GRACE

The foundation of renewal is a vibrant, living faith. True transformation begins when we understand God’s unconditional love and the balance between grace and faith. These are the resources that transformed my walk with God and continue to equip me to help others discover the freedom that comes from knowing who they are in Christ.

Religion demands performance—grace reveals what Christ has already secured. When your faith is rooted in truth, fear loses its grip, condemnation falls away, and you rise with confidence, clarity, and conviction in who God created you to be.

DISCONNECTED ROOTS

I didn’t grow up with a foundation of faith—at least not one that was lived out. My dad was raised Catholic and my mom Baptist, but church was never part of our life. There were no conversations about God, no guidance, no sense of spiritual direction. What I did experience was instability. Alcohol shaped much of our home, and with it came chaos, inconsistency, and a deep sense of lack.

As the oldest, I stepped into responsibility early. I worked for what I needed, tried to help care for my younger sister, and learned to rely on myself long before I should have had to. But underneath that independence was something deeper—I didn’t feel anchored anywhere. There was no place that truly felt like home.

Looking back, I can see it clearly now. It wasn’t just the absence of structure—it was the absence of identity. Without guidance, without truth, I was left to figure life out on my own. And when you don’t know who you are, you start searching for it in all the wrong places.

MISALIGNED FAITH

I was introduced to Jesus in high school. I remember being baptized in a river, but if I’m honest, that moment didn’t immediately change the direction of my life. I still made hard decisions. I was still navigating life without real understanding, without discipleship, and without anyone showing me what it actually meant to walk with God.

I believed in Him—but I didn’t know Him.

My faith was shaped more by assumption than truth. I lived with this underlying belief that if I did good, God would respond with good. And if things went wrong, it must somehow be part of His plan. So I endured. I pushed through. I kept moving forward, even when life felt heavy and confusing.

Patterns repeated. I found myself walking through situations I wish I could go back and change. But even then—though I didn’t recognize it at the time—God was still present. He was still guiding me, even when I didn’t understand what that looked like.

It wasn’t a lack of faith. It was a lack of clarity.

TURNING POINT

Everything began to shift when I met my husband. For the first time, I wanted something different—not just for myself, but for the life we were building together. We made a decision to bring God into our home, to go to church, to raise our children with a foundation we never had.

And in many ways, our lives did change.

But underneath it, something was still missing. We were doing the right things—we were showing up, serving, learning—but our understanding of God was still shaped by performance. We believed that our role was to do our best for Him, and in return, He would bless our lives.

It looked like faith. It sounded like faith. But it was still rooted in striving.

We were building a life centered around God, but we hadn’t yet discovered the truth of who He really is—or who we were in Him.

And that realization would change everything.

AWAKENING TO TRUTH

Years later, everything began to come into focus. Through teachings like Faith School and later through Andrew Wommack and Charis Bible College, we were introduced to something we had never truly understood before—authority.

For the first time, I realized that not everything that happens in life is from God. That truth alone shifted everything. I had spent years believing that hardship, pain, and struggle were just part of His plan—that I was meant to endure them faithfully.

But that wasn’t truth.

I began to see that we were never called to live defeated. That we were given authority as believers—to stand, to speak, and to align our lives with what God actually promises. Scripture became alive in a new way. It wasn’t passive—it was active. It was something to stand on, not just read.

That shift changed how I saw God, how I saw myself, and how I approached every challenge. I stopped accepting everything as inevitable—and started stepping into what was already available.

IDENTITY RESTORED

The greatest transformation came through understanding grace.

For so long, I had unknowingly lived in a performance-based mindset—believing my relationship with God depended on what I did. But grace revealed something entirely different. It showed me that everything I had been striving for had already been given.

I wasn’t working toward healing—I was already healed.

I wasn’t trying to earn provision—I was already provided for.

I wasn’t proving my worth—I already had it.

That truth dismantled years of striving.

God wasn’t waiting for me to get it right. He had already made a way through Jesus. My role wasn’t to perform—it was to receive, to believe, and to live from that place of identity.

When that shifted, everything else followed. Confidence replaced doubt. Peace replaced pressure. And faith became something steady, not something I was constantly trying to hold together.

TRANSFORMATION (SPIRIT, SOUL, BODY)

As my understanding deepened, I began to see how faith touches every part of life—not just spiritually, but completely. Spirit, soul, and body are not separate experiences; they are connected.

My spirit was already made new—but my mind needed to be renewed. My thoughts, beliefs, and patterns had to align with truth. And my body—something I had once been disconnected from—became something I learned to honor as part of God’s design.

Transformation wasn’t instant—it was intentional.

I began choosing differently. Thinking differently. Letting go of old patterns, lies, and emotional strongholds that had shaped my life for years. I learned to forgive quickly, to release bitterness, and to surrender what I could not control.

Faith became something I lived—not something I visited.

And in that place, there was strength, clarity, and a deep sense of alignment I had never experienced before.

PURPOSE ACTIVATED

Today, I don’t just live this—I teach it.

My heart is for the woman who feels stuck, confused, or disconnected from God because what she’s experienced has been rooted in religion, not relationship. I know what it feels like to try, to strive, and still feel like something is missing.

But I also know what changes when truth replaces that.

I am called to help women understand who they are in Christ—to break free from false beliefs, step out of performance, and walk in the authority and freedom they were created for. This isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about returning to who you already are.

You were never meant to live defeated.

You were never meant to live uncertain.

You were created to walk in clarity, confidence, and purpose.

And that begins with truth.
